To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Maul’s Bike Shop, the project aimed to honor the shop’s legacy with a bold, humorous, and culturally resonant visual campaign. The concept fused classic bike shop branding with rock-and-roll attitude, including apparel graphics, limited-edition stickers, and custom bicycle head tube badges.
The commemorative tee features a bold illustration of Dick Maul’s face in the style of KISS band members, each version playfully echoing iconic makeup styles from the glam rock era. The design leverages parody and homage, turning the founder into a larger-than-life character — “The Face of the Shop” literally.
